Cracker Candy from Angela James

by | Dec 8, 2013 | Blog, Feature, Food, Life, Recipe

I’ve made cracker candy using Angela James’s recipe over the past few years. It’s become a family favorite as well as a favorite of my husband’s coworkers. She updated her recipe to include a gluten-free option as well which I may be trying for myself this year.

I need to warn you, the name of this has been shortened to Crack Candy in my house rather than Cracker Candy. Yes, it’s just that good. When we found out our son was allergic to nuts of all sorts, we stopped using Nestle Toll House chocolate chips (they have a nut warning) and use Hershey’s chocolate chips instead. And obviously we don’t top with nuts.

I make a combination of Saltine and Club crackers. The pictures help to really show you what each step/stage should look like. I hope you enjoy!
